I have been working in the creative industry for three years. This crazy, fun and exhausting experience gave me lots of inspiration and a good taste of visual design, and it also challenged me to come up with ideas to help contribute to business growth both in short term value and long term vision.
During these three years, I learned lots of visual design skills, account management skills and had the experience of collaborating with different agencies and media in China.
While leading a branding team at a startup in Beijing in 2016, I worked with different media agencies, including working with Aixiao Studio to create a viral video, working with a digital agency to create an HTML5 campaign site, and reaching 12% growth in Q1 sales.
Then I came to the U.S. to learn User Experience Design. I completed a certificate program atUCSC Extension, then worked at Radius Intelligence to help build a smooth experience for marketing/sales people. Currently I'm working at Faire to help small businesses to chase their dreams.
I have been giving lectures about UI techniques and providing freelancer opportunities for new designers on an online course platform, Laioffer. Over the past two years, I have helped more than 200 students enter this field.
